Meet the greatest lover of all time
Now for the main event:
Meet the greatest lover of all time
Today, I want to tell you about a delightful ghost lover named Renoir Lassier.
He lived and loved as a man in the 15th century.
He is reputed to have fathered over 200 children by the time he left France and returned to England to take over as Lord of Durran Castle.
At that time, Durran Castle was under constant siege by marauders, so if you came to visit, you would be greeted by a great deal of archers ready to fire through those small windows.
Lassier spent his time painting naked ladies, making love to naked ladies, and fighting battles.
He acquired a unique pet, an ocelot named Mr. Finch. The 40 pound cat followed him everywhere, even into battle. Lassier had a thick leather skin placed over the rump of his horse so Mr. Finch could assist in the constant fights. Mr. Finch terrified many a horse, causing them to unseat their riders.
When Mr. Finch died, he was buried in the family cemetery and thus, returned as a ghost cat. He continued to ride with Lassier, only now invisible to the eye, but very real to the touch.
Lassier set about to discover how Mr. Finch had managed such a feat. When he died an old man and was buried in the family grounds, he knew more about materialization than any of his ancestors. As a ghost, he could not only take the shape of a human, but make his body feel firm and warm.
The Durran men have never been easy to love, so over the centuries, Lassier has given Durran wives a great deal of love when their husbands refused to step up to the task. He even has a method of ensuring they have children.
The Durran men have never been easy to love, so over the centuries, Lassier has given Durran wives a great deal of love when their husbands refused to step up to the task. He even has a method of ensuring they have children.
Which brings us to the current dire situation.
But the men...not so much.
In today's world where women get to decide who they will marry and if they will have children, the Lassier's family line is at dire risk of ending.
Here's the problem:
Gar & Brendon are both in love with same woman. Only Senna is engaged to Brendon, whom she never plans to have sex with.

While she and Gar don't get along at all when they first meet, they soon come to admire, then love each other, but neither is willing to betray Brendon.
So Lassier has no choice but to intervene. Only, he falls in love with Senna as well.
Two British Brothers,
One highly experienced and amorous ghost,
Who would you choose as your lover?
It's Amazon review rank is 4.8 stars

Here's what readers have said about the book:
Ghost Lover holds a little bit of everything, all rolled into one. Mystery, romance, heat, angst and humor. It’s all there. A true, whimsical treat.
Liza O'Connor has crafted an entertaining novel filled with interesting characters that have to work through their problems with the added trouble of dealing with the family ghost who is certain he knows best.
The two ghosts, human and feline, are hilarious, and they add great levity to some serious subject matter
I loved the way Liza wrote the book so you would have been happy no matter who Senna ended up with and I am totally including Lassier in this.
For those seeking a HEA, Ghost Lover won't disappoint; however, Liza O'Connor will throw in a few curve balls along the way. So buckle up, it's gonna get bumpy.

Wow, that Lassiter was a busy guy!
ReplyDeleteYes, we always assume ghosts have nothing to do, but Lassier is a very hardworking/hard-playing ghost.
DeleteWorst Week Ever sounds like a great book. josephhawkshaw (at) Yahoo (dot) com

Oh Stupid Heart is Book two of the series. It gets very close to a proper humorous romance. However, I do advise reading the series in order.

DeleteI would love to get the third book in your series of the Long Road to Love. I think I will have to find a way to hate Trent. I'm wondering if Lassier has any hot other ghosts who want to move to Michigan!
