Christmas is the perfect time to fall in Love.
Best of All...
You don't have to be perfect to fall in love.
(Oh, thank goodness!)
For example, meet Jacko, the gypsy pirate.

Jacko was forced into piracy at the age of 13, and traveled with the worst pirates imaginable until at 17 when he shot the pirate captain and took the ship back to England. Unable to get a proper job, he took up stealing, and showed a true talent for it.

Then he met Xavier Thorn, the greatest sleuth & spy England has ever had. Xavier convinces Jacko to steal and kill for the good of England instead.

Recently, Jacko stole an old woman from Bedlam, and takes her to her daughter's estate. The moment he lays eyes on the daughter, Alice, he falls in love.

Alice intends to die unmarried. Her stepfather has abused her in the worst of ways and no man of society will ever want her.

Upon reaching the age of 21, she takes control of her estate and gives up on love.

Until she meets Jacko. He is strong, brave, and has saved her mother from certain death.

But her mother wishes to return to London society, which will never happen if Alice marries a gypsy.

So Jacko gets a makeover and a new name.

Meet Jacon Bienora
Spanish Aristocrat

Perfect, now they have a right to love...
But hold on...

Someone has stolen Alice.
Someone wants her dead.
Someone wants her wed (but not to Jacko).

Can Jacko find and save her in time?
Can Alice escape her capture?

You know what you must do to find out...

Now, for your special Christmas Present:
Book 1 of my best series

While investigating the death of a friend and client, Maddy Hamilton, Xavier Thorn (reputed to be the greatest sleuth in England) is greatly impressed with Maddy’s nephew, Victor, and offers him a job as his secretary. Aware of Xavier’s history of firing secretaries, Victor garners a promise that for three months he cannot be fired.

Vic then proceeds, in Xavier’s view, to be cheeky and impertinent at every turn. Xavier endures the impudent pup because Victor is most skilled in extracting the truth from clients and intuiting facts with little evidence to assist.

As they solve a string of cases, Xavier discovers a few more important details about his troublesome apprentice, such as her true gender, and the realization that she has awakened his long dormant heart.

  2. Such a great deal, Liza! I've already got Troublesome Apprentice or I'd be putting my email on here. I do love both looks for Jacko--a very sexy gypsy-pirate!

    1. Thanks Jenna, I love both looks as well, but he could hardly pass as a Spanish aristocrat in the first picture.

  3. I would love a copy. Thanks Liza.
